Job Description

Could you be our next Category Manager?

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our team for a 12 month fixed term contract, covering a period of parental leave.

In this role, you'll spearhead procurement processes for designated categories within the ANZ region, employing strategic sourcing to achieve cost savings.

Responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:

  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings in product categories, and lead the sourcing and qualification process of potential local suppliers 
  • Negotiate with supplier for best value pricing
  • Prepare and distribute operational and KPI reports
  • Manage product trials/promotions and new product introductions
  • Conduct reviews on distributor costing and make proposal to pricing of products
  • Review Distributor’s price computation for imported and domestic product lines

Desired Skills and Experience

The skills and experience you’ll need.

  • Strategic and operational procurement experience with a solid working knowledge of category management 
  • International strategic sourcing / category management experience
  • Experience working in QSR of Food industry required
